The Problem
Aura's original platform lacked functionality, relied on manual processes, and was difficult to scale. Clients faced fragmented experiences without a centralized interface for managing their health journey. Aura needed an automated, all-in-one solution for appointments, results, and recommendations.
Mission Goals
In a duo project with Maud Bouscavet, I helped streamline Aura's platform by improving the UI/UX and automating processes. We focused on reducing manual workloads, enhancing user satisfaction, and scaling operations. My role included designing appointment tracking, an intuitive health recommendations interface, and building the design system.
Working in collaboration with Maud, I helped design a comprehensive appointment management system, ensuring that users could easily track every stage of their appointment, from booking to receiving results. We introduced a progress stepper to visually guide users through the journey, making their status clear at all times. This feature significantly reduced confusion and created a more seamless client experience.
A recommendation system was developed to provide clients with actionable insights tailored to their health needs. Filtering options were added, allowing users to sort recommendations into categories such as diet, exercise, and supplements. This feature enhanced user engagement by making the platform’s health management tools more personalized and accessible.

The buy flow was completely reimagined to simplify the purchasing process for health checks and appointments. A modernized checkout process was designed to eliminate friction and provide clients with a seamless transaction experience. The streamlined design allowed users to navigate options effortlessly while maintaining a clean, intuitive interface.
A comprehensive design system was developed to ensure visual consistency and scalability across the platform. This system included a library of reusable UI components, such as buttons, banners, and forms, which streamlined the design process and facilitated seamless integration into the platform. Typography and color guidelines were also established to create a cohesive and recognizable visual identity, aligning the interface with Aura’s branding.
To maintain layout consistency, spacing rules were meticulously defined, ensuring clean and balanced designs across all screens. Additionally, flexible component variants were introduced, allowing the system to adapt to different use cases while preserving uniformity. This design system not only enhanced the user experience but also provided a solid foundation for future scalability as Aura's platform evolves.
